Mr. Roger Marwood has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of all gynaecological conditions. His expertise includes menstrual and menopausal problems, contraception and well women care and advice.

His particular clinical interest and expertise is in Colposcopy, for which he is an accredited practitioner, and diseases of the Vulva. Mr. Marwood is a co-author of The Atlas of the Vulva.

Colposcopy is a method of examination of the vagina and cervix using a binocular instrument which magnifies the image of the cervix. This enables a number of abnormalities to be identified, and biopsies taken from areas which look abnormal.
